My Colonoscopy/endoscopy experience

Hi there

I had a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy a few weeks back.


I went off to sleep quite quickly and woke in recovery. I had 4 very large polyps removed which the specialist was worried about but the results have come back ok. My father has had bowel cancer so I need to be checked again in 12 months and then regularly after that.


I have acid reflux but the endoscopy showed nothing else.


It was an easy procedure and a quick recovery. It was not as bad as I was anticipating.
