    Feel terrible AGAIN

I'm so sick of this. Started to feel really sick again yesterday and when I woke up this morning and have really bad tummy ache again. I had put it down to ovulation pains/bad PMS, but my period has only just finished and so its clearly not that.

Convinced I have ovarian cancer all over again. The only time I seem to be free of these symptoms is when I have my period and so I am now panicking that there is something seriously wrong with me.

I did have a stressful day yesterday, had my blood test at the doctors to check my thyroid and someone pranged my car and didn't leave a note. But I don't FEEL stressed, just ill:(

Sorry for the moan - I'm just getting so sick of this. After a failed attempt to come off my meds, I have only been taking 15mg, whereas my psychiatrist told me to take 30mg, just wondering whether I ought to follow his advice and have done with it!!

Because I have diarrhoea most mornings when i wake up - I'm wondering whether the 15mg is being whipped out of my system quicker than it should be (I take it at night).

God I really hate this - why won't it all go away?????????????

    Hey

I can't offer advice i'm afraid as I think I am about as much of a wreck as you at the moment! Sorry!
It's tough isn't it? Just keep going, like I keep telling myself, this can't last forever....

    Hi SB.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad few days. I too like you rarely FEEL stressed, but symptoms appear and then that gets me feeling stressed alright.

I try to examine what I have going on stressful in my life and try to think objectively wether or not that could be causing the symptoms. I have come to the conclusion that I have a lot of anxiety and worry that operates 'just under the surface' I guess it needs to find a way out and it does so by causing me these feelings, twinges, aches and pains.

IIRC, you were getting married? I know that just after I got married, I went almost completely off the rails. I was terrified I was going to die and leave my wife alone. I convinced myself I had all sorts of illness. I'm still here, still anxious, but still here.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Dan

I want to go up to my anxiety, smile, put my arm around it and say to it caringly, 'Hey! How are you? How's your day been?'

Then, just as its about to answer me, I wanna throw a sack over it and give it a hiding within an inch of its life.

    That would be nice.

    Oh dear mate,
Sorry to hear you are feeling bad.
Stick with the 15mg give it time for your body to get used to it, You have been on meds off and now back on your body is prob adjusting.

You sound very much like a friend of mine who suffers with IBS....not ovarian cancer.

try and relax...hard i know, but you will be fine.

    Big hug

dear SB.I too think you have ibs, because i have it and for years i thought i was dying[still here!]i was so nausious ,sb,thati couldnt bear it some days.I went to a herbalist and bingo it stopped, honestly after all the years of tests and barium x-rays and cameras down my throat,it was gone!I RECOMMEND IT HUN!Also yesterday i went to my drs as i have been feeling ill again for two weeks realy poorly ,aches pains dizzy ,sick, sleep disturbed etc etc,I asked him,IS THIS NERVES!I dont feel nervous so why do i fel so ill?Hesaid it could very well be nerves[he did say a virul thing was a possibility too]he asked about what was happening when it started this time[3rd time this year, exact same symptoms[]i told him iwas going for my cancer check up,well he seems to think itis a subconcious thing thatsets it off,so although we are not aware we are stresed we are!!!So i decided to plough thru it hun,and although i am not 100 percent i feel i am in control rather than the other way.Hope these ramblings make some sense hun!Love mary rose.xxxxxxxxxxx around!

we are all in the same boat and can guide each other ashore

    Oh BTW

Your first paragraph is exactly what I've had last two days. Its like being stabbed from the inside out. I have it alternating between lower left/ lower right side and have just come off my period. Maybe its after pains? lol!
Seriously, though, definately may be IBS especially as you getting diarrhoea.

    Take carexxx

Thanks for all your replies. I still struggle to get my head round the fact that anxiety and stress can make you feel so physically bad!!!

Seeing my hypnotherapist tonight so hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow!!

I guess that I did have a blood test yesterday AND some idiot pranged my car and left without owning up:( - so pretty stressful day all round!

I too love it when I feel ok - but I seem to have more painful days than normal days at the moment:(

Thanks again - what would I do without you all???!!

Hiya have you read my recent posts. I am EXTACTLY the same as you. Since going back to work tho i have been able to rationalise my symptons most of the time and believe me Honey we have stress!!

The pains are our muscles because we are stressed and the bowels are reacting also. Someone replied to me and pointed out its the adrenalin causing fight or flight and making the bowel work faster.

Take care and please know i understand what you are going through and am here if you need me.

Hello,Iv had bad anxiety for a few weeks because I had a really bad panic attack.Since then I have woke up every morning anxious and with bad tummy ache, needing to open my bowels quickly.I was told also its the adrenalin.
I have had tummy pains for years and loads of tests done, and they all came back clear.Anxiety does horrible things to the body.
    Take care
