Opinions on the different meds.. Sertraline or citalopram

Hi all, I wondered what anti depressant has helped you, if any, with anxiety.
I use to be on citalopram 20mg (sometimes 40mg) I found that an increase to 40mg really saw off a bad bout of anxiety.
I was switched to sertraline 50mg and now 100mg due to trying for a baby and I haven't been as well since. This could if course just be a coincidence but I was interested as to others experience of the different meds.
Also does anyone know if you can take pregabalin and an SSRI?

    Many thanks x

I didn't find citalopram to be very helpful and I now take 150mg sertraline and I think it is begging to help some 3 months after starting it
