Does anyone get a feeling of diorreah before passing wind?

About a year ago off I went to the docs as I was getting bouts of really loose stools for no reason on and off - and i often get a little mucus when I pass a stool (so sorry tmi) but lately I get that awful feeling right at the bottom of my belly when you think you have diorreah but as soon as I pass wind it goes! Is this a classic IBS symtom? x

I've also been experiencing very bad piles they are horribly big :( my friend came round and she said to me that if im having mucus with my stool and these piles something is not right, but I was ok with it before she said that! I really dont know why on earth she would say that to me knowing I have HA :( x

That is exactly what is paining you, wind. The doc would need to diagnose IB though.

When I went to the docs last year they diagnosed IBS sorry should have made that clear!

Im not really sure if wind is a symptom of IBS. But Im sure someone will post some info.
