Tomorrow I am going to start taking 4*10mg of propranolol a day as prescribed by my gp. However I'm a little dubious how this is going to help symptoms such as derealisation and dizziness? I've also read that propranolol can cause weight gain...is there any truth in this?

I took Fluoxetine a while back and gained at least q stone. I've been on Propranolol almost 7 weeks and havent gained any. It will probably vary with different ppl as apparently ppl lose weight with Fluoxetine normally whereas I gained quite a bit. Good luck.
