My anxiety is all heart related, as I (hopefully) have a (hopefully) benign condition that mimics the symptoms of mild heart failure. The problem is actually with the nervous system rather than the heart, but it effects the heart by making it race a lot, along with effecting the rest of the body. Doctors have told me many times that I'm not in extra danger of dropping dead, but it's very hard to believe them at times.

One of my more worrying symptoms is that sometimes after I start eating dinner I get all uncomfortable in my chest and sweaty. I get indigestion and gas and sometimes my heart skips beats. The condition I might have is worsened by eating a lot at once, and I assume it's just to do with the vagus nerve and the effort of digestion.

But it still worries me because that post-eating discomfort thing is something people with heart problems get. I've had my heart arteries looked at so I know logically that it's unlikely to be anything sinister, but it still feels very scary
