Is it possible to imagine symptoms?

The other night I felt like I'd noticed a new bump in my mouth. I saw my doctor she said there's nothing wrong. But since noticing it I've felt a sort of tingling/cold sensation in this area. I poke it quite a lot and examine it, but it feels really odd? I'm totally freaking myself out about it now & can't sleep. Any help would be great. Thanks

Could be a lot of things, but very unlikely to be anything serious. You mightn't be imagining it, but you can get all sorts of funny bumps and stuff in your mouth that come and go. Sometimes it's a sign of vitamin deficiencies or being a bit run down. Whatever it is, if you try not to focus on it it'll probably go away.
