First time here

Well, I'm Jorge and I'm here because I'm using Citalopram and it appears to be doing a reasonable job for me. I am taking one 40 mg tablet per day and I have taken the med for almost one year. Started with 20 and doctor upped me to 40 and then said, take the LEAST amount that does the job.....I dropped to 20 and realised I needed 40. Sorry for the long introduction...........suffice it to say that I USED to have horrendous PANIC ATTACKS that are now gone completely..............and depression, that I think I still have............

I add to my own post. People who know me think that I am a new person. For years I'd get upset and blow off at people over the simplest little thing OR NOTHING at all!

I sense that depression is still an issue but then again what do I know. Somedays I can get up and get things done, then occasionally just sit and watch TV all night and day only getting up to go potty. Have lost thousands of dollars in the past 3 years and not all of it due to my mental health............and that alone is depressing me..........Turns out I may have been depressed most of my life and never realised it or was treated for it. Sheesh!
