pain in left side of chest

hi woke up this morning with pain in left side of chest on the outside by rib cage, convinced myself that i had a clot in lung or worse, could it be that i,ve pulled a muscle i've had a cough, and been over breathing a bit.

u have probably pulled something like u said, i had a clot in my leg 3 years ago and a clot in the lung was one of my big fears, the dr said to me that if u had a clot in the lung u would literally be gasping for breath, i have a similar thing 2day on my right side, i hate this anxiety!!
