tooth pulled now panic

I had a tooth pulled on Thursady at 3:30
and it's now Saturday 8:30 pm and my hole
right side of my face is KILLING me & is all
swelled up!![V] And now i'm having a really
bad PA Please help me in anyway you can.

Hi I think I can help on this one, I am a qualified dental nurse (so I do now what I am talking about)
What you are describing is something called a dry socket, and can be very painful it’s were a blood clot has not formed properly in the socket so instead of there being a barrier there to protect it it’s just a hole allowing food to get stuck in there.

The only way to resolve this is to go back to your dentist there is a special medicine that can be placed into the socket to help it heal, in this country it’s called alvogel.

Also they will need to clean the socket out, we see this a lot after extractions, it’s nothing to fret about but you will need it seen to as soon as possible just so you can get some relief.

Hi I have had this problem with a tooth extraction.(god thats a posh way of putting it)And sam is right you need to straight back to the dentist.
