Fear of HIV

Dear brother and Sisters,

I have a problem here and need your help.
I had an exposure ( anal sex unprotected ) with a lady of unknown status 9 weeks ago.
I had the following tests

1) P24 hiv test post 3 weeks = NEGATIVE
2) Proviral DNA post 5 weeks = NOT DETECTEE
3 ) PCR DNA & Elisa post 6 WK = NEGATIVE
4 ) DOU 7 Weeks NEGATIVE

I am in Nairobi, Kenya and all the specialists and doctors assuree me that i don,t have HIV.

NOW, did repeat PCR DNA + DOU post 9 weeks and getting the result this week.

I also tested the lady and also waiting the result too.

I have been having muscle pain, general weakness and tired, neck stiff and irritating.

Pls assist me the accuracy of all my above tests?,

Hi Mohamed,

I would take all the test results and doctors opinions to heart. The physical symptoms can be attributed to stress/anxiety.
