Is it possible for Lexapro to produce increased anxiety for the first week or so?

I've been on it for about 6 days now, 5mg. I'm supposed to start 10mg tonight, but I've noticed up and down anxiety, but I can't exactly pin it on the drug. Tonight I experienced something strange, almost as if my anxiety has changed. I'm suddenly very nervous around people at the store and I'm tense/anxious when I'm alone. Also noticing a small bit of depersonalization, where home doesn't feel like home, everything feels foreign, etc.

Is it possible for the drug to cause this, or is it just my anxiety playing tricks on me?

It's very possible LAI. I've done Citalopram (SSRI) and Dulexetine (SNRI) seperately and both increased by anxiety a lot, especially Duloxetine which gave me 8-10 very very bad days.
