Excellent. My energy levels are just all over the place. Anyone get occasional muscle jolts?

I had that in the first weeks
http://anxietyandmeee.wordpress.com/ started a blog to help me out, recommend doing this.
forgot to add that I wake up a few hours earlier than I used to, and I always break into a quick sweat when I wake up
Have been on 50mg for 4 weeks and now on second week at 100mg.
The initial side effects were headache and hand tremor and insomnia. I also felt muscle tenseness.... Became aware that I was sitting with hands clenched and body taut. The headaches and tremors have gone and although sleeping a bit better, still waking up several times and rising very early. The muscle tension is still there though.
I did not find it difficult moving from 50mg to 100mg and had no repeat of the initial side effects.......I know some people do.
Hope this helps people.... I am really glad that I hung in there as I feel sooooo much better...the panic attacks have gone and the obsessional thinking, the anxiety is much less and I feel my mood lifting each day.
😊😊😊☺️

I get the same tenseness. I'm also peeing a lot more...
I was only on sertraline for 4.5 weeks (only 25mg too) but I had the following side effects:
- jaw clenching (I get this on other ssris)
- general sense of fatigue. I was sleeping 10 hours a night minimum. In addition I went hillwalking one day and was struggling like I was a 90-year-old man.
- cognitive dysfunction. I had the stoopids big time on sert.
- blurred vision. This was the killer. Pretty much prevented me from studying properly as I couldn't focus on my computer screen.
- Slightly increased sexual functioning. This was an unexpected 'side effect' and very welcome too.
I really should have given it longer, but I was getting really behind on my studying so switched to something else. If I was taking it again tomorrow I'd give it longer.
Today's mood rating - calculation in progress.
Really quite shaky today.
Ok, it's whole week since I bumped to 75, feeling disoriented, lightheaded and sweaty. Is this normal? Been slowly titrating up for 9 weeks now and losing hope :(
Sounds about right. Sert is a beast that can knock you for six. You'll be right soon.
Thanks Limey, it's just taking forever and I am so over it! It's like every time we increase the dose it's day 1 all over again...9 weeks is too long
