It's been one month :)

Just realised that tonight makes a full month since I have self-harmed. After a particularly difficult year this has been a record for me.

There has been a few times where I have struggled however with the incentive of skin removal surgery and the massive amount of support I have had on here and in the chat room it is getting slightly easier.

Wabbit, that is great news and I'm very happy for you. I'm sure it hasn't been easy so well done. I hope by next month you can say it's been two months since you've self-harmed and then the next month you can say three months and so on. Good luck!

It's just dawned on me that the 2 month mark will be my birthday. Still taking it one day at a time and taking nothing for granted.

That's the best way to do it. Hopefully you get through the next month without doing it and have an extra special birthday
