    Pregnant

    Hi all.

Does anyone know what you can take in early pregnancy for panic attacks. Dr gave Diazepam, but this can cause lots of birth defects.

Also, does anyone know if pregnancy can make your panic attacks go mental and have them constantly. Please feel free to PM me.

It relates to the amount of time it takes for a drug to get out of your system. eg half life of 12 hours means that after 12 hours half the drug is gone (I think).

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!
I would take advice on this one only from a doctor to be honest. If you can't get to speak to a doc today then you can call NHS direct and they will be able to advise you.

    Hi Lizzie,

Congratulations my sweet - what a Xmas pressie!

I went to my GP the other day to discuss pregnancy, and she advised taking Sertraline, as she knows that it's OK during pregnancy.

    Ask your GP

Congratulations on the pregnancy - how exciting

I agree - when you're pregnant it's best to be guided by the doctor as to any medications.

Happy Xmas to you and bump!
