is it safe to take the above mentioned alternative to mirtazapine as i have been on these 3months now but dont seem to be getting any better. so took i x15mg mirtazapine last night plus 1 5htp seretone but have felt edgy allday

I think 5HTP has similar actions to anti-d's. I wouldn't take it regularly until you've spoken to the doc.

Yes get it checked out cos it can interact with some meds.

NHS direct may know as well.
