knot on neck

So, 3 weeks ago my daughter head butted me on accident in my neck. The same night I noticed a small lump, between pea and marble sized, above what would be my Adams apple. Its not directly on the midline, its slightly to the right. It feels like it's attached to whatever is hard there. Bone, cartilage, Idk. It moves with the bone or whatever when I swallow. I've had my thyroid and white blood cell count checked. Its all normal. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm so terrified it's gonna be cancer or something.

It may be the part of adams apple.Some people realy have enlarged bones , so i think u must have that type thing.

It's above where the Adams Apple would be. Its almost where my neck meets under my chin. Just slightly to the right. It definitely feels like a knot, and is only on that one side.

Had you have chacked by any doctor or not.

I had blood work done, which came back normal. I requested a referral to an ENT for further evaluation, but I haven't received an appointment yet.

Is it under jaw line ? when you were headbutted, did it knock your teeth at all?, it be a gland thats swollen...

I have been to ENT dept for a CT scan today of my head so know what worrying is ! especially as i am claustrophobic!
