Heart and cough

Hi Guys

Why is it that when i get flutters i cough involuntarily?It scares me and ive read that your heart goes into a funny rythym.

I worried because if you dont cough does that mean your heart will stop or you will have a heart attack?
Does anyone else get this weird cough?,sometimes its like a stuttery cough

I don,t know why this happens but i get it too. It is like a rush of air through your chest that makes you cough.x

When i get palps it ALWAYS makes me do a cough!

I very often get the cough as well. Not all the time, though. The flutters are not a deficiency in your heart, so it makes no difference if you cough or not.
Your heart will not stop and you will not have a heart attack either way.

The cough is the bodies way of shocking the heart back into a normal rhythm the same way a thump in the chest does.
Found this out from a doc when I was going through the palp stage
