    dizziness only in certain places

Can anyone tell me why I get dizzy only in certain places. Like I get dizzy when I walk from house to the lift and sometimes inside the house. But I can walk miles and miles in the park. I checked with ent and my ears are fine. Eyes are fine too. Then what is ?
My dizziness comes when I am hungry
When I am walking on the corridor from home to lift (elevator)
When I am in crowded shops/stores

Perhaps because, for some reason, those situations cause your body to react. The food aspect is obvious. Lack of food will most definitely cause dizziness as well as many other physical and mental reactions. The lift and crowded shops apparently are places your mind perceives as a threat (closed in space with no escape?). Thus the flight or fight response and symptoms of a panic/anxiety attack. The key is to find to why those areas cause this. Therapy is a way to do this. By knowing why this happens will help you overcome the symptoms.

    Thanks Fishmanpa,
I will try not to starve myself.
Meanwhile, by therapy do you mean CBT? I am currently on a short visit to US and I cant go for any therapy right now atleast for the next 2 months while I am here. Can you suggest some self help ideas to overcome this?
IS therapy the ONLY way to go about it?

There is a free CBT workbook you can download here.

The way I see it is this....

When you have a physical illness, you go to a medical doctor. Treatment may include meds and/or physical therapy. When you have a mental illness, you go to a mental health professional. That in conjunction with your GP can provide support in the form of therapy and meds.
