citalopram 30mg

i have been ill since monday i got a panic attack at 11am it lasted all day
this is the first time ive had one this long i felt like going to hospital i felt so ill i was okay yesterday and then today one mighty one this morning
and again this afternoon usually i feel im going to die and im scared out of my wits but today was different i didnt care if i died or not ive been to my gp tonight and he has upped my citalopram to 30mg does any else take this amount also im back on the diazepam when will this ever end
im starting to get depressed and cry a lot the tingles are worse and my jaw aches during an attack ive had heart tests all clear my home life is happy im happy in my job i cant see an end to this is it ever curable:(

Hi Catherine. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done!)

I was on 60mg (the max) citalopram right from the word go, until 5mnths later when I was able to come off them. Symptoms may get a little worse before they get better and things settle down a bit more.

Try and stick with it, I'm sure you won't regret it

The cure is within us - it just needs to be teased out slowly sometimes.
