Please help..blood in urine

About 2 weeks ago i had blood in my urine..quite alot..no other symptoms..went after a day or two..just been to loo and blood in urine again..i am under alot of stress at the moment..i have rang the drs but have to ring in the morning..i am convinced something sinister id happening..i am 45..please has anybody had this or similar or can somebody put my mind at rest.i feel sick with worry..thankyou

Hi, last year I too had blood in my urine. I had to do a urine sample and have a bladder scan. I was basement I was ill and I was going to be told I had something sinister. Well it turned out to be nothing, nothing was found. Blood in my urine was from having some Gyny problems. I know it's hard to believe but it could be anything from hormonal imbalance to something you have eaten. Or just a plain Urine infection x xxx
