Smear test

I've got my first ever smear test on Sunday... I'm so scared

Not to actually have it done but the waiting for the results

The thought of being told something is wrong terrifies me!!!!!!

I'm one who never goes to the doctors for anything cause I'm too scared of being told somethig is wrong

How can I make this alittle easy in myself??

I'm not sure I even have any symptoms I have the odd pain and ache but I'm putting thy down to having two babies... I don't have bleeding in between periods I sometimes have pain when having sex but not all the time....

I'm sure ull be fine atleast your going which is a positive thing the waiting it's horrible but if anything shows they can catch it early these days .all the best with it

The best thing to do is go have it done then forget about it..

I know that sounds easier said than done but it takes a few weeks for a result and no matter what they say it will not be as bad as you think - I had pre cancerous cells and had to have treatment and yearly smear tests, I am not saying this to scare you but to let you know that even if anything bad does occur its easily sorted!

I had the all clear in march and now back to smear tests every 3 years. So try not to worry the chances are you will be totally fine - I only had one ad normal the rest since have been fine.
