I love meat loaf.
Me too!!! I like putting cheese, different meats, ketchup, etc. So good!
I have been cooking a lot this week. I signed up for Blue Apron - do they have that in the UK? They mail you fresh ingredients and recipes. I'm only doing it while my husband is away because I don't have time to stop at the store after work and I hate figuring out dinner.
First night was a pasta dish with peppers and tomatoes, second night was curry catfish and rice, tonight was quinoa and veggie dish. I liked the first two, tonights was underwhelming. It needed more to it.
I don't know if they have that in the UK but it sounds like an awesome idea. Can I ask is it pricey?
It's borderline ... it depends really on what you typically buy. So the options are meals for 2 or 4 people and you get 3 recipes with the ingredients as well shipped to you for a week. You don't have to get it weekly, you can skip weeks if you want. So its $60 for 3 meals for 2 people ... so per person it is $10 per meal. So I guess if you think about it, it's similar to if you bought the produce at the store but don't have to bother with going. It also helped that I had a coupon for 1/2 off, haha.
Seems so far like they have a lot of variety but I only just started.
However I usually just make easy and cheap stuff. So I am probably spending a little more than I normally would, but I am eating healthier food. I only plan on doing it when my husband is not home, as he likes to come up with his own recipes and stuff when he is here.
