I received a call from my HR department, to tell me they have to make a significant amount of redundencies, they have a 30 day consultation period and then who ever doesn't fit the criteria will be gone.

Poor woman didn't want to call me i could tell, i don't expect at all that they will keep me on as i only started last year and have had a long term sickness.
I do want to get back into work, somewhere part time and local for now. However once i made redundant i don't know if i could claim income based ESA?

I have a partner who works 39 hours a week, not earning a lot but i am sure you cannot claim ESA if your partner works 24 hours or more? any advice
