Afraid of hiv from sexual assault

I was sexually assaulted beginning of February. There was no penetration. He just rubbed his penis across my vagina and butt and pretty much everywhere else. As far as I know he did not cum. I didn't feel anything. Beginning of March i got sick with pink eye and a respiratory virus. Then end of April I got an antibody test done and it was negative. Then come beginning of July I get sick with a random virus while starting a new medication and that morning I woke up with a swollen lymph node in my neck. I gave it a month to go away and it still hasn't. So of course I am scared of it being hiv. So I went to the doctor and she said she thought it was just from being sick so she gave me antibiotics to take for a week. It did help it go down a lot, but I can still feel it. And whenever my allergies are bugging me is seems to swell again, but then goes back down. Its only one thats swollen. I've checked everywhere else. The doctor even checked. So I need to call the doctor back to make an appointment for the biopsy and I am so scared. I have to go get rested at the end of August for hiv. Do you think that lymph node means I have hiv? I know usually you have more than one swollen from hiv, but could it just cause one to be swollen. Please help I am so scared. I just want the nightmare to be over.

First of all I am so sorry you had to go through that. Sending big hugs. Secondly no I don't think you have HIV, it's normal with allergies etc to have swollen lymph node and sometimes they don't go back to original size or take ages to go down completely. If you are feeling low and run down, which after that I imagine you are, you will be more susceptible to bugs.

I took a look thorough your posts and it's this obviously has caused and is causing you a great deal of trauma, stress and anxiety. Please contact the mental health crisis hotline and speak to someone. Every state has facilities, groups and help available and they'll be able to refer you to someone that can help.
