Ultrasound results on lump

Yesterday I had an ultrasound on a pea-sized lump on my upper inner thigh. The doctor said he thinks it's an inflamed hair follicle or a cyst. However, he said there was no liquid inside it and no blood flow. Would these not need a blood supply? Today it feels bigger but how can it grow if it has no blood flow? Feeling scared, even though the doctor said it was fine. :(

IMO, you're perceiving it to be bigger due to your anxiety and poking and prodding. You got the all clear... be happy

Could it be bigger because it's irritated after the ultrasound?

Thank you still can't help worrying. I'm going to try not touching it for a month and see how it goes.
