Short term memory problems

I have recently found problems with my short term memory which have me worried about brain cancer. I have had similar things before but recently I have been forgetting things like when my mum tells me to do things I often forget. This really worried me as I was playing a game and was trying to do something and eventually I realised I had already done it just a few minutes earlier but I couldnt remember doing it and this really freaked me out. Anyone have similar experiences?

I don't think that's a sign of brain cancer. Depression and anxiety can cause it.

Not a bad problem to have as hopefully you'll forget this is is a problem
