Dunno what to expect!!!!!

Hi Guys

Well last year my psyc referred me for cbt and got a letter saying they felt i would be better seeing woman called dawn summing or other and finally i have an appt tomm at 12.30pm!

Its for an assesment but of what im not sure!!!!

Anyone got and ideas tips etc cos what i really want is another course of cbt cos the last lot helped sooooo much i dont want to talk to one person once a week and get nowhere!!!

Havent worried about it till now cos i refuse to worry in advance anymore!!!

Any thoughts?????

Hi Matey,

When I had my assesement, it was with one person and she just asked some back ground questions about my past and my family, and then general questions on how my anxieties affected me, how they made me feel etc, I made sure I told her about the worst feelings I had with it and how badly it had changed my life...........it was a very laid back chat and I felt totally at ease.

Good luck for tomorrow Kazzie.

If they refuse to offer you CBT quote the NICE guidelines at them which recommend CBT as the preferred treatment for panic and anxiety.
