brown period instead of notmal bleeding

Hi due to my history I've been petrified of cervical cancer my periods are always regular as I'm on the pill and vary between light and heavy but this month my period has been brown rather than red and not much at all I'm freaking out its something bad as never had this before has anyone else experienced this please

Yes, I have. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong. It is just dead blood.
Talk to your GP about it if it will put your mind at rest.

Guys I'm panicking I had a clear smear last march what are the chances of something bad �� I've never had this before ever !!!! How many times have u guys had it ?
