Waiting on biopsy freakout

As usual, waiting on yet another mole biopsy and as the time ticks by and gets closer to me receiving that phone call, I'm having a harder time calming my nerves. A much harder time.

Just remember many have come back okay. Youre doing what you can to prevent and unfortunately it's part of the process 😳

I know, just hate the waiting. I know i'm being proactive and going as often as I do means anything that might be there will likely be caught very early. But still...you know how it is :(

Mildly atypical, so enough to keep an eye on the area, but they don't have to do anymore.

Since you have been through this I just had my skin check and biopsy. I got the same diagnosis for a mole biopsied on back. Is it cause for great concern?

The mildly atpical ones are nothing to worry about. Just watch the area. If you see any sign of it growing back (or anything else unusual), then definitely go back, but MOST mildly atypical never move beyond just that. With moderate to severely atypical, they would remove more tissue around it make sure it has clean margins. :-)
