Religious People?

Do we have any true beleivers in religion and god on here?

If so I'm really interested in what you have to say as a beleiver myself I like to think that there is an almighty being and that we're never alone and that death is only the beginning?

Who else agrees?

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and such, but I can't get enthusiastic about something which cannot even begin to be proven to exist!

i did belive at one point but not sure what happend mabe i like what i went to church for but didnt like the way people were with me it was very much that people had there own frends and groups ect
i wouuld like to belive agane as it did help me such a lot

Whilst I don't believe in God, I believe there is someone up there that listens when you ask for help if that makes sense!

Hi I agree there is something, my daughter goes to sunday school and i go to family service with her once a month. Its only a small church and the people there are lovely and we have some good socials eg going out for a family meal , they always invite to thier meals at church . They have a breakfast club for the children before they go to school on the whole i find them all very sociable and have no worries. They accept me for who i am.

I do believe in God, have a strong faith and I'm spiritual. I do miss Sunday services at times though. Where I live there are far more churches than bars so almost everyone in my neighborhood goes to church.

i was a regualr church goer for years, being through sunday school, communion, etc. and continued to go most weeks until about 10 yrs when I took ill. I lost my belief and withdrew my church membership and havent been back. I realised I hadnt been going for myself but because my family expected it.
I am however still a spiritual person and do believe in something but not sure what - I tend to go with my own inner trust and believe that this is only a part of my journey and whatever will be, will be.
