Worried it could be Ulcerative Collitis or other IBD

Hello,

I am back. Some symptoms subsided but some persits some worsened.

The good
1) Lower left pain now intermittent
2) Severe fatigue now to moderate to mild
3) No stomach burn
4) No Itching

The bad
Started taking vegetable juice but now getting these symptoms.
1) Stomach and rectum rumble mostly especially afternoon
2) Bowel movements changed from once a day to thrice mostly morning and afternoon
3) Incomplete feeling after bowels always
4) Constant urge to defecate especially worse in morning and after meal
5) Vibrations inside and outside everywhere for couple of seconds

No blood in stools till now. Yesterday did stool sample but all clear including occult blood negative. Please can anyone reassure me its just IBS.

I do wonder if you have some irritation in your GI tract. How long have you had diarrhea?

I say this bc I finally had a colonoscopy, and it turns out I have microscopic colitis, which isn't a disease like crohns or Ulcerative colitis...

Have you tried Imodium?

Thanxx for replying Melonpony. Just for the couple of days. Its more of small soft blobs rather than watery, like ull have when u are tensed before interview or something. Any help would be really appreciated. No I haven’t tried immodium but just started taking pyssilium guess it will take some time. The thig is its worse in the morning and If I think about it. :/

What symptoms do u get with microscopic colitis ? Was ur blood/urine/stool normal before diagnosisi ?

All tests are normal for me, and the only symptoms were persistent watery stool, occasional bloating and gas, and the left under rib pain - although the only symptom that defines it as colitis was the persistent watery diarrhea.

Damn. Mine is not watery so I highly doubt its Microscopic. Even If its microscopic do u undertake any treatment for it ?

Treatment is just Imodium, and if that doesn't work, a low dose steroid for 2 months.

Yours does sound like IBS more than micro.c.

Not ONLY women, just more prevelant in women.
My GI Dr said if I were in my 20s, she would have diagnosed me with IBS instead of having the colonoscopy. So, that's most likely what you would get, too, since your stool and blood tests are normal.
