Praying all goes well!
Praying all goes well!
Thank you all.
I had my appointment with the breast surgeon today. She said that she doesn’t feel any lumps. She also reviewed my scans from this time and the last and didn’t see any issues.
She basically said that it could be hormonal, ductal ecstasia, or a breast papilloma. She also said that, whatever it is, it could just stop on it’s own. She will see me again in two months and she gave us the green light to start trying for another child.
I’m am thrilled at the moment. I need to remind myself that she thinks everything is ok so that I don’t start questioning it later.
Everything looks good from her point of view.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes.
So VERY pleased for you. I bet you could murder (not literally!) that NP. I think you could reasonably ask from some explanation from that NP as to the trauma she's put you through.
Shame you couldn't have seen this lady first of all
Wonderful news though-so glad all is OK xx
Brilliant ! Absolutely brilliant....It is def. something hormonal (thats why I asked right at the start about if hormone levels had been tested) and you know what.....remember that now!
The surgeon did say that I may some some sort of condition that makes my breasts a little more lumpy at certain times of my cycle, so that may be why she felt something...even though I didn’t feel anything when I checked that night.
DId you say to her about the period 'oddities' ?
Shoot. No, I forgot about that. I always forget one thing because I have to repeat all of the symptoms and history a million times at each office. Well, I guess I can bring it up in May.
Oh my gosh this is brilliant news. Congratulations! I know it’s been a harrowing time but you absolutely managed it the best way you could. Keep us updated, and let us know when you’re pregnant too!

Yes, do that, I think its important - and could give a more holistic picture of what is happening.
Fantastic news!
