I recently went to the doctor because I found a lump deep inside my outer labia. She was certain it was a cyst and saw I was distressed so offered an ultrasound to ease my mind. I got a call from the office about a week after my ultrasound to come in and she told me that it doesn't actually appear to be a cyst. She still didn't seem concerned and asked me to get another ultrasound in a month or so but the fact they have no idea what it actually is scares me. She said the material inside appeared to be more like tissue and now I'm afraid it's a tumour. The only cancer I could find for what it could be is epitheloid sarcoma which is extremely rare especially in the vulva, but the lack of symptoms and explanation make me worried. Anyone experienced scary ultrasound results or anything? My health anxiety is usually bad but it's even worse now. My boyfriend thinks nothing is wrong which is soothing but I cant know for sure.
