Has anyone switched from Fluoxetine 20mg to citalopram 10mg my doctor has done it today and was told to start it straight away with no tapering

That should be fine as you haven't been on Fluoxetine all that long and 10mg is quite a low dose of Citalopram. Like most SSRIs you may feel worse initially, but luckily Citalopram is quite fast acting so you won't have to wait as long as for Fluoxetine to feel any positive effects. Best of luck

I have been on fluoxetine for 8 years but doctor said it was ok
