    Hair loss on fluoxitine...anyone?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone on here has suffered hair loss while on flux? I know it's listed in the side effects and while I appreciate it's more important to me to get better and flux will help with that, I do worry about the hairloss aspect of this medication.
While I'm on week 7 today and not suffering with hair loss, it does tend to sit in the back of my mind and worries me slightly.
Also does anyone know would the hairloss be an initial side effect, rather like the nausea and tiredness that tends to wear off as your body becomes used to the medication or, would it be something that maybe long term users of flux would experience after being on the med for a long length of time?
I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight on this?

Hi Lux, the reality is that we're all unique and any medication can cause any side effect in individuals. If you're not experiencing hair loss it's not worth worrying about. It's likely just something your anxiety has fixated upon, I had similar experiences and worries when I started Fluoxetine.
