Muscle twitching in legs arms since drinking

Hi guys I have been drinking about 4 cans of beer every night for about a month to help me get to sleep quickly but starting about a week ago through the daytime I have been getting frequent muscle twitches in my legs and arms, nothing major but sort of like when you get eye lid twitches, also I have developed a dry mouth. Is this my body telling me to cut down? Weird thing is the twitches go away once I drink but come back in the morning so maybe it is an alcohol withdrawal symptom? What do you think.
