    Google Again

Why o why do I Google

I have had this sensitive "pain" down my left side of my chest for days, been trying to ignore it but finally decided to Google it. Yes I know, Google, the curse of the GAD sufferer.

I also looked at the anatomy of the human body (no not that kind of site) to see what squishy organ hung around my left side. Luckily, the Liver is the other side and the pain is too far up to be a kidney. What was I thinking of anyway? The anatomy of the body jeeze was I going to get a knife and have a peek inside? get a grip Jaco.

I can't go to the docs, I can't run to the GP everytime I get a niggling pain.

Queston is, has anyone every had a slighty painful and sensitive to touch left side that was just anxiety? Or am I just being a muppet?

It's not helping that I borrowed the neighbours wheelbarrow (rickity ole thing) and I broke it. Without hesitation I went out and bought the old chap a new top of the range job.

Get this, he has just been round to thank me, but a little annoyed as the broke wheelbarrow had sentimental value.

SENTILEMENTAL VALUE, did he run his wife up the isle in it? I did bloody wonder what all the cans were doing strung to the back.

    Re: Google Again

You know when I had my mad week a few weeks ago and youngest piglet wanted to get in on the act - well her pain was on the left side and lowish down.

I remember the doctor telling me there was nothing much down on that side there (in the way of organs etc) and asking us if young piglet had done any strenous activity to cause it, or even if she was constipated and trapped wind can give pain there too.

A big lol at the neighbour and the new wheelbarrow - silly old noggin!!

Now give over on the googlin already - googling is only for looking up pics of tattoos on feet (which I am considering ) and coming up with a very very very disgusting porn site (which I am not considering ). I am now going to have to put a cold flannel on my forehead and take a couple of panadol!!

Love the story about the wheelbarow!

A lot of people get left sided pain and assume it is the heart when it isn't.

Is it all down the side or more in the chest?

I ruled out the heart Nic, the wife says I don't have one

I am thinking its a pulled muscle or strain, especially since my mate piglet tells me there is nothing on the left side, and I have googled it to death and not found anything to worry about.

Tell you what though, I have answered all my critics who say I don't have a sensitive side

    As always

    Great advice

Awww I don't believe that mate!

I had this terrible pain once in my left side and it went on and on so I went to doc and I had cracked a rib! No wonder it hurt so much.

Could be a pulled muscle yes so hope you feel better soon.

Forget your pain for now - I still have images in my head from my googling today that I would really rather not have. I may have to start a whole new thread about it!!!

    Oh Jacobite.

Quit that Googling! You know you only get worse case scenarios.

Can you describe this pain any more?

Re Wheelbarrow: rofl. Oh dear oh dear. Hopefully the new top-of-the-range model will help him to get over the traumatic loss of his sentimental wheelbarrow.

Hope you're feeling better today xx

    Re: Google Again

I am trying to keep a lid on this anxiety crap.

Its a pain from my side Swan through to my shoulder blades, but added to that, I woke up this morning with my eye almost closed (swollen), and I don't know what the hell that's all about.

I am doing something that I thought I had got over, and now I have read that kidney problems can manifest as swollen eyes (and the side pain).

Ok its just my imagination running away with me, last thing I am going to do is whine on like an old sweey wife about it.

I have had this niggling pain for 3 days, and a red mark on the white of my eye, I imagine its just a pulled muscle, a blood vessel in my eye burst, and I have just got a reaction to something with my swollen eye.

I am as dizzy as hell, but I know thats just anxiety.

Infact sod it, I am boring myself about it nevermind anyone else.

    A fed up Jaco
