Benadryl antihistamine

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone had any luck taking benadryl to help with anxiety ? I have taken it on 4 days recently mainly for my hayfever and everytime my anxiety levels dropped to almost zero.

I am going away with my hubby on tuesday for 4 days and will be taking it with me , hopefully it will help again

I know the USA sites seem to use it for withdrawal symptoms so maybe you've hit on summat there

It knocks me out cold but could be because I am on meds. I didn't know we used it for withdrawl, learn something new every day!
