    A new focus

My OH bought me a puppy on Sunday. To give my other dog a break the puppy needs walking. I walked him on Sunday when it was dark. He got 3 walks on Monday, including one at a time when the local kids were walking to school. Unfortunately due to an illness yesterday on my part the puppy had to make do with the garden. And as I wasn't feeling too good today he didn't get a walk until this evening. The puppy seems to have eased my anxiety a bit. I don't think my OH realises how therapeutic this puppy is. My other dog doesn't do walks, she never has.

I am also becoming more confident with my driving, but I don't go to far afield at the moment. I need to know that I can get home if need be. I also managed to go to my friends for coffee on Monday, something I haven't been able to do since July.

All these small steps are encouraging me to keep going.
