    Awful…..buts it’s over soon.

I knew someone who bought a portable air conditioning unit. She said it was a game changer. Can be noisy but then so can fans. Also ceiling fans, (which my son got for me) are very good. With an open window they suck the cool air in and whip it round.

But all this is for next year….I think we will see the back of it very soon for this year.

That’s it, just going to have to ride it out this time. I might look at an air conditioning unit.

It doesn’t normally bother me this much, it’s just because I’m already in a mess at the minute I think. I’m also just skin and bone, so maybe my body isn’t regulating my temperature very well.

Slept better as is felt cooler last night, but I’ve woken up worse than ever. I don’t understand how anxiety can be this relentless. It doesn’t make sense to me in any way.

This is purely mental and physical exhaustion now I think, which has my nerves on a knife edge.

I’ve tried kicking on, I’ve tried trying to chill out and sit with it, and nothing helps. I’m out of ideas.

I honestly can’t take much more of it.

How do you rest a mind that won’t rest?

Distract it rather than try to rest it. Reading helps me.

Yeah, I’ve been trying that, gently getting into other stuff, but I can tell it’s almost my minds NEED to obsess about myself, because I start panicking when I realise I’ve been distracted.
I was sorting something out before, so got into it, and because I had ‘forgotten to worry’, I felt better for a second. As soon as I noticed, I burst into panic… it’s all so weird!

Absolutely sick of this. It’s never ending.

I’ve just been re-reading the old advice from Joe about acceptance, but it’s what I’ve been trying to do anyway, and it just isn’t helping.
