Mammogram results

I had a mammogram last Monday . No results yet . I'm in Ireland. It was ordered by my GP so wasn't a routine one . I'm absolutely beside myself with worry and waiting. It's been months of waiting in regards to being able to get an appointment (public waiting list ) it just all seems to take so long . How long was everyone else waiting?

Good luck missykat. Yes waiting times are annoying! I had Cancer, and the waiting times for the blood test results were some of the most worrying times of my life. Few weeks ago opticians found something in my eye, and told me the optician will call me back if he thinks I need a referral. That was worrying too.

Try to relax. The results will be what they be (hopefully all clear) and worrying won't change them. Cross that bridge when you come to it. But today, look at the sky and tell yourself "I woke up today. Many didn't. I will enjoy this day".
