sensation in head?

hi i was just wondering that apart from me and cassie on here does anyone else get the sensation of a surge of something in the brain feeling like a mini explosion and does anyone know what it is or had it diagnosed?
does any one know if it can be controlled?

Hi jason,
I get this all the time,it drives me nuts.Its a very hard feeling/sensation to describe,its kind of like sudden electric shocks that makes you feel like your brain is rattling about aswell,its so weird and horrible at the same time.
I dont think you ever get used to it,even though ive had it for a good year or so on and off,but i do think that its an anxiety symptom because when i dont give it any thought it goes away,so try to hang in there mate

I haev many many weird sensations in my head and they usually cause me to start to panic. I have had a cat scan and they said all is well though so I blame it on the anxiety!

yeh candie that is exactly how id describe it an electric shock mine get less and less intense as a panic episode goes on. ive been dealing with them for 5 years or so now not all the time maybe ill have an episode after about 7-8 months really is horrible not knowing when and why where it will happen.
just hope CBT will solve it.
