burping...but not if lying down

Does anyone else experience excessive burping and wind but, only if they are standing or when they sit up or move about. I had a Gastroscopy last summer and stomach and esophagus were clear. Of course my Health Anxiety wants me to beleive it's colon cancer, however Dr's (GP and GI) say I dion't have other symptoms. Why would the burping not be taking place if I am lying down or reclining and still? Do others experience this with their anxiety?

Hi - I burp all the time and am a generally windy person (not that you wanted to know that) but my gp says it coz I dont breathe right and I bolt my food down quickly whilst talking so swallow loads of air and I eat hunched up in front of the tv which squashes your stomach causing wind!!!
