Hi Sophie,

I think unless you can afford to go private it is something that your GP has to refer you for. I'd have a chat with them as that's how I started CBT last year.

Hi Mike, I've heard the waiting list is 7 months round these parts and I can't wait that long and besides i think i'd rather go and see someone that's been personally recommended...

Sorry don't know of any around those parts cause live in the south but you can go to the listings of professional private CBT practitioners on their website but i just can't think now off the top of my head ,does anyone else know? if you phone them they will also send out a booklet with therapists from all areas in. But obviously quicker online. Also try your local yellow pages, but make sure they have a creditation.
