popping sound in ear

Strange thing happened this morning, I woke up and noticed I had a popping sound in my left ear. It was also occumpanied by a sharp little pain behind my ear.

It's left me feeling a bit freaked out, I am trying to convince myself it's my sinuses becase they are clogged up. It would be nice if it would go away as it's making me into a right state this morning. Have been real proud of myself because I managed to get my health worries down this week now this morning it's another thing to worry about...how annoying.

Looking forward to the end of the day so I an go back to bed!

Have you had a cold recently I get popping if I have one and pain, my daughter works for aGP and says the popping is just air

ended up going to the docs for something else and she booked me off with a sinus infection so that would explain the popping
