    Hiya cassie,

I also suffer from this and was told by my counsellor it's a symptom from anxiety. I thought it was something worse so seen a doctor and was told the same.

    Hope you feel better today.

    Hello

Yep, loads of us anxiety sufferers get these horrible head things. I think they call them Head Shocks or Head Zaps.

I get them fairly often - just lasts a couple of seconds and can be enough to start making you anxious when you weren't before!

Just remember that it's a common symptom of anxiety and isn't harmful.

    xxx

Yea I get them, had some when I was with my therapist when we were talking about work,he saw I was having it and jumped in quick saying " keep talking to me, keep talking" later he explained it was like a quick adrenaline rush and proved my anxiety was work related, of course it's moved on from there now to allsorts of other anxieties, for example I now get them if I suddenly get a strange pain or something health related or if I'm trying to work out my finances etc.
But it's one of the things that CBT have helped me with in realising it's all perfectly normal ,just push it aside and carry on with what you were doing, take to much notice of it and it can develop into a full panic attack.
    Take care.
    Decca.
