Interior Design Idea to help anxiety please

Hi

One thing that makes me really anxious is my balcony. I live 4 stories up. When I was at my worst I panicked so mcuh i nearly jumped off the balcony. Now I have a huge anxiety around it and my flat is very small so that does not help either. I have looked into moving but we are paying very good rent which hasn't increased in 3 years and I simply can't afford to mvoe now.

Can anyone suggest a way to make my balcony less anxiety envoking or anyway I can become less anxious of it.

I have 2 balconies and I got really long curtains as both balconies have a window next to them, I keep the curtain shut over the balcony door and only open the side with the window.

Another idea is to have window boxes attached to your balcony and put some conifers in them, this will give you a focus point rather than just picturing how high up you are.

Another tip....dont look up when you are at the balcony...this always makes it seem much higher.
