The drugs don't work update

Hey guys thank you for your advice on Citalopram. My Psychiatrist has now put me on Venlafaxine (Efexor). I have been taking them since last Friday (6 days) The deep dark falls of depression are not so strong and out of control, although I do find myself feeling more anxious as I go along and feel very emotional and tearful. Haven't had any major nasty side effects on these like I have Citalopram so far.

Anyone else on these AD's

Would like to hear your experiences please.

Also how long do they take to level out?

Hi I am on these meds.
I felt a lot more anxious at first but it has levelled out now.
I hope they work you

I have been on them for 3 weeks now,
forgot to say that in my last post

for me its taken 3 months to get dose right

but side effects were short living, praps first 2-3 weeks

i felt benefit fairly soon for anx, but dep took longer

just keep talking to ur gp and/or hosp until u are satisfied with the meds

What finaly worked for me was a combo of Effexor and Efronax (reboxetine)

Worked like magic, within about 5 days
