Visual Disturbances

After quite a big panic attack this afternoon - shortness of breath, tightening of throat, shaking, dizziness - I now have another symptom.

It didn't happen immediatly, but about 20 minutes later I started having flashing lights in my right eye. I can't see properly and the peripheral vision around the lower right edge has gone. It is slowly clearing, but not completely gone. I am assuming this is a symptom, but not sure.

Has anyone else had this?

migraine with aura, maybe, sometimes you can get the visual disturbances without the migraine. it's scary i get migraines a lot! or if you went from a bright room to a dark room this can happen too

I used to get this when I panicked really bad. It lasted for about 20 minutes and then went away. I went to the eye doctor and they said everything was normal and we chalked it up to stress and anxiety, which we all know can play havoc on our minds and body. Take care and I hope this clears up for you.
